Text description provided by the architects. The main goal of the investment was to realize an A class office building by creating a modern and functional accountancy center for Roedl & Partner with flexible open space favoring comfortable work and gastronomical area located at the ground level of the building. The building is part of the complex in which an adaptation of old granary for lofts (housing and services function) and two garage buildings were realized. It is planned to realize two more newly designed housing buildings as well as to adapt former bakery building for housing and services purposes.
The fence from the crossing of Zygmunta Starego street and Kazimierza Wielkiego street has been partially taken apart in order to make the entrance to the building accessible from Zygmunta Starego street as well as from the internal road of the complex. Stairs are located by the side elevations (north-east and south-west) because of the levels difference. Stairs are restricted with revetment wall. Elevations are finished with plates on aluminum frame. Some of the irregularly placed windows on side walls are covered with the same plates with perforation. Windows on the north-west side of the building where the main office space is located are much bigger and depending on the workers needs can be covered by external roller blinds made of 'screen' type fabric (a composition of polyester and PCV).
